Last month’s feature was of the CEO and Founder of Noirebud, Carolyn Gray. A Brooklyn-based creative powerhouse who has poured her heart and soul into her business. She’s got an incredible energy that lights up any room she walks into and Carolyn knows how to stay authentic to herself in a way that makes others feel constantly empowered. Below she shares a little more with us about her business and what makes Noirebud unique.

Why CBD?

I have always been a sober person, I don’t mix well with alcohol or actually smoking cannabis. However, I always envied people for having vices to take their edge off. So when I learned what CBD was, I felt like I hit the jackpot with a compound that is non-psychoactive. It has so many healing qualities that I respect as well so I felt that I can use it and make products that not only calm people but heal their aches and pains.

What makes Noirebud different is the handcrafted quality and energy behind making each product. I do not make the product unless I feel and have good energy because I truly believe energy transfers from me to the ingredients to the client. So anytime they use the product they feel my positive energy and my well wishes that they feel ease in anything they do. The intent behind every product I have cultivated is to make people feel more connected to their own essence. Anxiety is something my products target. Anxiety makes people feel disconnected from what makes them feel aligned and joyous. Noirebud eases that so you can just feel like yourself with confidence.

Favorite Product?

All time fave is the Recover Salve – It was the first product I created in 2018. It’s multiuse and eases so many bodily stresses. Arthritis, muscle pain, headaches, psoriasis, dry skin, everything! I tested it on the trainers I worked closely with while I was still working in fitness and they called it the magic butter…..and it truly has proved itself to be just that. And its smells refreshing:)

What’s next for Noirebud?

I am looking to introduce skin care into the current product line. I have issues with Acne and scarring, so I want to introduce a product that helps with that because I know so many people suffer from acne or scarring from “maskne”. I am also working on a fragrance product. And I really look forward to building a team. Gotta get this legacy going!
