I’m a lover of the world and far off places who is so excited that you’re here. Looking forward to sharing more of my world with you and all the things I love. I hope this site really does feel like a wellness oasis right here on the internet.
I love a good vacation where you’re on the beach and don’t need to wear real clothes. Aren’t those just the best? Years ago when I really started woking out, I rewarded the hard work with a new bathing suit before vacation. Now, I own way more bathing suits than I ever thought I would need and have some companies I swear by when looking to buy a new suit.
Sexy & Budget Friendly: Matte Collection
This is my absolute favorite new brand that I’ve found. The suits are sexy and also so affordable. Shipping is pretty quick and the material seems surprisingly high quality for the price. The styles are so cute and they have so many fun patterns. I wear a medium since the suits aren’t sold separately and I’ve had pretty good fit overall. Matte Collection has sales often, and they are constantly coming out with new sexy swimwear styles.
Affordable & Trendy: Forever 21
Every year, I get surprised when I find at least one cute swim suit under $30 at Forever 21. After the second or third year, I should just expect that they have some good stuff. Since you’re not wearing a bikini or bathing suit every day, they don’t get worn down as easily as a pair of jeans so it’s not always necessary to invest. I like these suits for something cute or a new style that’s trendy but I’ve not tried yet. This year, they have some really cute pastel separates that are even on sale for $15. Keep in mind, once purchased swimwear is final sale so be sure about the size and style before purchasing.
Quick & Bold: Amazon
Sometimes you need a new swimsuit quickly, and Amazon Prime (as always) comes through! Amazon has some gems when it comes to bathing suits and some crap too, not even going to lie. In my Amazon Shop, I try to keep an up-to-date selection of the swim suits I’ve ordered there for reference. Look at the photos and reviews before you decide to purchase and if you don’t like the fit, returns are generally super easy. I wish places would sell separates, but for $15-20 I know that’s asking for a lot.
Options & Fits For Days: ASOS
I started experimenting with Swim on ASOS because there were so many affordable cute options. ASOS has their own line of swimsuits, which I like, but they also carry a ton of other brands on the site. My boobs make buying swimwear extra fun, usually I need a M-L on top and a S-M on bottom. For someone with a top that is a different size than the bottom, I love that 80% of the swimsuits can be bought as separates. Like Amazon, they deliver quickly and returns are easy (especially if you pay for their version of prime), so it was the perfect place to experiment. They have everything from the barely-there bikinis to the most full-coverage swimsuits.
Simple & Sophisticated: Myra Swim
If you’re looking to make an investment in comfortable swimwear that will last, I love Myra Swim’s options. They have sales throughout the year, especially as they release new colors or styles. The bathing suits come in a variety of colors with an all-around flattering fit that I can’t get over. The willow and ford tops are my faves. The material is so soft, and for a woman like me with a larger chest, there is the flexibility to order top/bottom separately which is always clutch.
