I’m new to Chicago, Illinois and loving that I have such close access to Lake Michigan. Back in New York City, the beaches were much farther away so I can appreciate how accessible Lake Michigan is to so much of the city. Now that it’s hot outside, my dog Joey and I have spent so much time lakeside and at the various beaches off of the lakeside hiking paths. Both of us love to get outside and always want to be prepared for long walks, especially since Joey is getting a bit older. I love to find cute looks that are also comfortable enough for a long walk!

Our last lake day was the most fun and we even brought one of the toys we got from Sierra, this water buffalo tug toy so Joey had something to play with while lying in the shade. Sierra has so many awesome options for pets, I was pleased to see such a variety of options from harnesses to toys to even snacks. 

For long walks, I like to be prepared with a cute outfit and really comfortable shoes. I love that with MIA Shoes, which I found on Sierra, I don’t have to choose. I get both really cute shoes and the comfort of sneaker bottoms which is unmatched. These MIA Lunna Flatform sandals are the best, this yellow color is also one of my faves! Loved shopping for myself as well and appreciated that these Yogalicious bike shorts were so affordable and comfy too. Paired the black shorts with this A by Avocado cropped tank and it was perfect. 

You can get a full outfit for $30 or less! My whole outfit was less than $50 which is so awesome. With sandals, you don’t even need socks but good socks are an item I’m always missing so I grabbed a few pairs from Sierra as well.
