I’m a lover of the world and far off places who is so excited that you’re here. Looking forward to sharing more of my world with you and all the things I love. I hope this site really does feel like a wellness oasis right here on the internet.

As I sat down in silence listening to the sounds of nature and inhaling the fresh air from the forest, a rush of tranquility washed over me and I just got this idea, why don’t you bring more women here to feel this, to see this.
Having been in the tourism industry for over 9 years now, I have always enjoyed the peace and serenity that came with my travels and when I came home I would interact with friends that had no idea what this feeling was. These are ladies that have been working day and night with no reward of a break and that’s when I knew that something had to change, thus my vision for Girls Travel Africa. A vision that transcends borders, cultures, and identities. A vision that celebrates the power, resilience, and beauty of women of colour.
Welcome to a journey that promises not just rejuvenation of the body and soul but also empowerment through travel – welcome to Africa (Girls Travel Africa). For too long travel has been seen as a luxury reserved for the privileged few but with Girls Travel Africa I challenge that notion and believe that travel is a birthright, a means of exploration, self-discovery, and growth. And today I extend an invitation to each one of you to embark on a transformative journey to Africa.
But why Africa, you may ask? Africa, the cradle of civilization, the land of untamed beauty, and the heartbeat of diversity. Africa, with its vibrant cultures, rich history, and unparalleled natural wonders. Africa, where the spirit of Ubuntu – “I am because we are” – permeates through every encounter, every smile, and every shared moment.
Yet, I understand the hesitations that may linger in many minds. Safety concerns, cultural differences, and the fear of the unknown. Let me assure you, my sisters, that our wellness travel packages are crafted with your comfort, security, and well-being at the forefront. We provide not just a journey but a sanctuary – a safe space where you can unravel, connect, and thrive with both yourself and the local community.
Moreover, our commitment goes beyond the confines of travel. We believe in the power of economic empowerment, particularly for women. That’s why our packages are designed to not only uplift you but also the women of Africa. All our trips are led by well-trained female guides and the majority of the lodges we sleep at are also owned by women.
Imagine strolling through bustling markets, indulging in age-old wellness practices, and forging bonds with sisters from across the globe. Imagine immersing yourself in the rhythm of African drum beats, savouring the flavours of indigenous cuisine, and witnessing the majesty of wildlife in its natural habitat.
But most importantly, imagine the impact we can collectively make – by choosing to travel consciously, by supporting local communities, and by amplifying the voices of women everywhere.
So, my dear sisters, I urge you to heed the call of Africa. To embrace the unknown, to defy expectations, and to reclaim your right to wander. Together, let us embark on a voyage of self-discovery, sisterhood, and empowerment prioritizing wellness and rest. Because in the end, it’s not just about the places we visit but the transformative journey we undertake – within ourselves and with each other.
