I’m a lover of the world and far off places who is so excited that you’re here. Looking forward to sharing more of my world with you and all the things I love. I hope this site really does feel like a wellness oasis right here on the internet.
I’m so big on supporting new businesses and ones that are founded by incredible Black men and women. Over the past year I have worn more athletic wear than ever before, so I wanted to share some of the incredible Black owned brands that you should know about. It’s always a great day to support Black Owned Businesses. I recently met the founder of Soley Fit, an incredible new athletic wear brand that is changing the game. These are all amazing brands that just happen to be Black-owned.
Solely Fit: Soley is the perfect neutral sustainable athleisure! So many style options that not only look amazing but are also functional.
Beach Hours: These bright colors and cool prints really help to motivate you to workout, and right now, I could use all the motivation I could find.
Ju’Nae: The vibrant colors and matching sets really draw me into this brand. Not only do they have athleisure, but they also carry swim and a few other accessories to really complete the whole look.
Pru Apparel: Pru stands for Power, Representation Unity & honestly that was enough to get my attention, and while they had it, they kept me with the out-of-this-world unique prints! Talk about making a statement at the gym! Love it.
Lukafit: I love to see a brand with size inclusivity because everyone should be able to look and feel their best while moving their body! Lukafit ranges from small to 3XL in some great unique prints. Along with great prints, their leggings and shorts are SQUAT proof! yes!!
Zoezi: Neutrals, prints, color, long sleeve, honestly, you name it & they’ve got it all! Not only do they have some dope athleisure for women, but they also have a few things for men. Aside from this being a great collection, the founder Yvonne has a great story as to the meaning being Zoezi’s name and starting her company. Zoezi:
Full Court: This brand started as a tennis athleisure brand for women at a time when there wasn’t exactly a lot to pick from. They have now started to evolve the brand and offer a lot more options for all of your athleisure needs.
Lydia Endora: When I tell you that I LOVE a good set, I really mean it. There is nothing better than just grabbing a matching set and putting even less thought into getting ready when you are already looking for motivation. Well, Lydia really knows how to create a matching set and I am here for it!
Roam Loud: for those of you who really love a good basic, Roam Loud is the place for you! They have a collection of amazing basic sets in a variety of neutral colors along with matching sweats so you can mix and match outfits!
Melt Fit: The size inclusivity that Melt Fit brings to the table is next level, and in addition, the color schemes & prints make me so happy to see! This bedrock print really brings me back to my childhood days!
LAPP. Aside from really neat athleisure wear, LAPP has a Magazine on their website with amazing relevant articles written by their customers, which is a really unique way of getting new and refreshing ideas out there.
Glamourina: Listen. They have masks that match their amazing African inspired prints & I can’t think of anything else more amazing if im being honest!
