Moving to London has been an adventure in so many ways, but one of the highlights has definitely been exploring the city’s vibrant food scene. As a Black wellness and fitness blogger, I love finding spots that fuel my body and soul—whether it’s plant-based bites, indulgent comfort food, or a little bit of both. Here are 10 places I’ve eaten since settling into London, each offering something unique and delicious. Bookmark this post for your next food adventure!

For a slice of Naples in London, head to Pizzeria Pellone. Their authentic Neapolitan pizzas are made with the freshest ingredients, and the dough is perfectly airy and soft. Trust me, one bite will transport you straight to Italy. Discover Pizzeria Pellone here.
Sometimes, the best meals are made at home. I whipped up a breakfast for my husband that was simple yet nourishing, featuring eggs, a simple salad, and fresh toasted farls (basically biscuits that are a bit more flat). It’s a reminder that wellness starts in your kitchen.
Let’s talk about Manteca. This spot is home to my favorite dish ever: lumache. This is a kale pasta dish that can be vegan (if you ask for it that way, without the cheese) and it’s so simple but SO good. Their pasta is handmade, rich, and unforgettable. It’s the kind of meal that makes you want to savor every bite. I also get the fresh fish and with a little olive oil and lemon, amazing. Explore Manteca here.
Make Make Coffee is a hidden gem where I scored a vegan pastry bag through Too Good To Go. I love Too Good To Go especially in major cities, you can get some amazing food and help end food waste. Not only did I save some cash, but I also enjoyed flaky, plant-based treats that paired perfectly with their coffee. Learn more about Make Make Coffee here.
Protein matcha lattes are my new obsession, and Rose & Rose serves up a version that’s creamy, energizing, and oh-so-good. It’s the perfect post-workout pick-me-up or mid-day treat. We went to Strong Pilates before we got our banana bread and matchas. Visit Rose & Rose here.
When I say these were the best chicken wings of my life, I mean it. Smoking Goat’s bold flavors and perfectly crispy texture make it a must-visit for anyone who loves a good wing. Yes, they sell them one at a time. Check out Smoking Goat here.
Laphet delivers on flavor with dishes inspired by Burmese cuisine. I tried their fish dish, and it was packed with spices and textures that I’m still thinking about. Discover Laphet here.
